Is the blind support of someone we voted for going to destroy the nation?

Let's face it, Bush started the whole bailout mess and conservatives, for the most part, defended him. Obama's policies have been a disaster and liberals, for the most part, defend him. Is our desire to not be wrong so profound that we cannot admit a mistake? Will this inability to speak truth if it requires an admission of an error in judgment going to destroy the country?
