What is purpose of Obama mandatory health insurance ?

Somehow national health care works in Canada, Germany, England, France, Norway, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland...stop me, I could go on and on. You don't see people going bankrupt and losing their homes because of mere medical problems in those countries, like you do here. We don't NEED insurance companies involved with health care. They are irrelevant in health. Doctors, Nurses, Labs, Pharmacies, Hospitals are all relevant, but insurance companies are NOT. Americans pay about 50 % more nationally for health care per person than countries with national health care do, and we get FAR worse results. Dump the damn insurance companies out of the equation, an insurance company never cured anything.
