With so many Republicans hailing Obama's economic programs like the Stimulus, why do they say they are bad?

Republicans lambast the stimulus but then they LOVE to show up at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the waste water treatment plant, bridge, road, or other project that put Americans in their district back to work.
